Homebound Cthulu

This game was made by me and Julian for a Ludum Dare 48 game jam. This was the very first time that we touched Unity. We made this more than 2 years ago in a 3-day timespan.

"Homebound Cthulhu" is a cute 2D platformer that follows the adventure of Chtulu navigating a tunnel system to return home. In this cartoony world, players encounter obstacles that they need to get past. As they leap through the tunnels, players must overcome puzzles and evade danger, all while enjoying a visually captivating and humorous experience. With engaging gameplay and a charming art style, "Homebound Cthulhu" promises a short but entertaining journey as players strive to find their way back to the comfort of home.

For the game jam that inspired this game, we had to make a game that fit the theme, “Deeper and deeper”.

For this project I did the art, design and some of the code.

I made use of Krita for the art and Unity for the code.
